Seeing this Sound Card is supposed to be compatible with windows 7 I do not understand why regardless of the drivers I try the same problem occur and I cannot 'Configure' the speakers in the playback device, usually this option is greyed out when the driver Get technical help for your Creative products through Knowledgebase Solutions, firmware updates, driver downloads and more. (Go figure since that option is supposed to be the same as the Configure Speakers in the Playback Device) (even when it show on the Home Theater that it is receiving signal on these speakers)Īlso in the Creative Audio Control Panel the Xi-Fi CMSS-3D Surround option is also greyed out and cannot be accessed. I can hear sounds and if I set on ALL SPEAKER on my Home Theater(Onkyo TX-SR606) sound will go into all speakers(note here that this produce Stereo sound NOT Surround) so the signal is reaching the Home Theater but there is no sound in the middle and back speakers I cannot press CONFIGURE to set up the number of speakers.

In Control Panel > Sound > Playback Device > Digital Audio (S/PDIF) Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio (Default Device) I can hear sound but only Stereo(2 Speaker) instead of the 5.1 or 7.1 I'm seeking. I have updated all drivers from Creatives Labs.
